Because ALL4 recognizes the urgency of addressing climate change and the importance of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting, we've joined the ranks of organizations demonstrating timely leadership by voluntarily measuring, verifying, and publicly reporting our 2008 GHG emissions to The Climate Registry. Reporting to The Climate Registry has provided ALL4 the opportunity to establish a GHG emissions baseline and document early action, while familiarizing our organization with the most accepted infrastructure available to date for voluntary and mandatory reporting of GHG emissions among North American states, provinces, territories, and Native Sovereign Nations. ALL4 is proud to report that, through coordination by the great folks at Environmental Credit Corp. of State College, Pennsylvania, it's been possible for us to fund a domestic agricultural methane capture project that offsets the 97 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents (CO_2e) associated with our electricity purchases, natural gas combustion, and refrigeration during 2008.
